Bye-Bye 1998 Bathroom

Where relaxation and tranquility come together in perfect harmony.

“Before”

The homeowners loved their home for over 20 years and wanted to honor it before moving by giving it a much-deserved makeover.

The goal of this comprehensive makeover was to successfully update the primary bathroom on a reasonable budget, allowing the homeowners the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy for the next owners of the property. Through careful planning and consideration, the entire bathroom was beautifully transformed into a serene oasis, providing a delightful and relaxing atmosphere with an affordable renovation that emphasizes both style and functionality. See more photos below.

Elevated comfort at home

With the careful removal of the old deck surround, we were able to significantly increase the size of the shower. For this transformation, we chose a beautiful large-format porcelain tile that closely resembles the natural texture and aesthetic of travertine, which we applied on both the floor and the walls. By extending the same elegant tile all the way up the wall to the ceiling, we achieved a seamless appearance that effectively creates the illusion of a larger and more open, airy space. This thoughtful design choice enhances both the visual appeal and the overall experience of the shower area.

“Before”

All the fixtures within the home remained in the exact same locations, but they were updated, which greatly enhanced the appearance and functionality of the space. As a result, these improvements significantly increased the overall value of the home in today’s market.

The large, oval tub with its surrounding deck was replaced with a stylish freestanding tub and a contemporary tub filler. Additionally, the built-in vanities were upgraded to elegant freestanding vanities, complemented by sleek modern mirrors and well-placed lighting fixtures that enhance the overall aesthetic.
