What's Hiding Under the Tablecloth?
Sometimes painting a room isn't enough to transform a space. After selecting a wall paint color, we created the design plan for the dining room spotlighting the antique table, without making it feel antiquated, and replacing the flat pierced splat-back chairs with soft diamond-quilted upholstered dining chairs. The contoured arms and silver nail head accents add a touch of classic elegance and balance needed for texture in a dining room. See more photos below.
To further elevate the overall aesthetic of the space, we carefully replaced the existing crystal chandelier with a transitional gilded satin brass pendant that is highly structured and infinitely inviting to anyone who enters. To highlight the crisp architectural lines of the elegantly designed open lantern, we strategically rotated the dining table 90 degrees to effectively showcase both the table and the captivating lighting above it.
The final layer to create this spectacular view includes the hand-made area rug, abstract art, and carefully curated decorative items.
